Best Time To Travel To the Island of Anguilla

The weather is ideal form the early winter until spring. Therefore this is also the most expensive time to visit. The best time to get a good package deal is between May and August. It is pleasantly warm throughout the year (80 to 86°F / 27 to 30°C). The sea temperature is around 80 to 82°F (27 to 28°C).

The Valley

The main town on the island is The Valley. It is also the capital. It has a population of 1,067 (2011). There is some colonial architecture in The Valley. It is located in the middle of the island. Near Crocus Hill, the island’s highest point, and in front of Crocus Bay. The nearest villages are George Hill, The Quarter, North Side and North Hill. The sports venue called Ronald Webster Park is mostly used for football matches. And the Leeward Islands cricket team plays some matches there. A popular attraction is Wallblake house. It is a museum and heritage plantation house.

The biggest draw of Anguilla are the dazzling beaches! For example Shoal Bay East, Meads Bay Beach and Rendezvous Bay Beach. These are some of the best beaches in the Caribbean! For nightlife Sandy Ground Village is the place to be. Island Harbour is a fishing village. Experience the local life here. 
Besides all this the locals are friendly and there’s an authentic vibe. Snorkeling and scuba diving are popular activities.
